In the sky tonight Venus will be exactly conjunct Neptune. This is a meeting of the lower and higher vibrations of love occuring in the last moments of Aquarius. In essence this is a time when the worldly, material, personal love moves to meet the loftier, spiritual, universal version of love.
With this energy passing over us romance, art, music, and all things beautiful have a heightened sense of importance. They take on a dreamy quality and we see them through the proverbial rose-tinted glasses. So delusions are definitely possible, but so is that supremely rare and delicious combo of pleasure of both body AND soul.
Venus and Neptune are at the 29th degree of Aquarius and the yearning for change is intense. Neptune, especially, can’t wait to slide into Pisces where it feels at home and can more fully spread into it’s watery depths. The Aquarian energy, however, isn’t to be so easily left behind. Ruled by Uranus (which itself has just changed signs), Aquarius loves the unconventional and the unexpected. Accordingly, this meta-meets-physical occasion calls for us to buck the trends. And not just the trends of the season, but those of the decade, of the generation, or maybe even of the entire era.
To put this into a fashion framework I suggest the following. From this moment on stop associating clothing with class. That means when you choose an item for yourself try not to worry that it might demote you, or hope that it might raise your profile. And when you see another person and perform that auto-scan of their sartorial possessions, try not to judge them for better or worse. TRY. This will not be so easily done as these notions are deeply ingrained in our collective consciousness. However, the heavenly climate is currently supporting such a shift, so why not dream the impossible dream?
